Wynne Ragland was born and raised in Birmingham, Alabama. He received a BFA from The Atlanta College of Art. He was also one of two artists from the U.S. to spend the summer before graduate school attending The Central Academy of Fine Art in Beijing, China.He earned his MFA from The School of Photographic Arts and Sciences, Rochester Institute of Technology. Wynne's work has been featured and rreviewed in numerous publications including a rare encore portfolio review in Computer Graphics World Magazine.

He has ehibited and/or sold work in Atlanta, New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Portland, Princeton, Birmingham, Minneapolis, Cincinnati, Dayton, Tokyo and Beijing. His work is included in many public and private collecion, including Nynex, Reebok International, King and Spaulding, Bell Atlantic, Media Managemant, and the Museum of Contemporary Art of Georgia.
